Happy Half Term!

Year 1 would like to wish you all a happy and safe half term! 

We have had so much fun, and made lots of lovely memories and even stronger friendships and we wanted to share some of those with you.

Mindful Mandalas

Today in forest school we tried to create mandalas...these are a spiritual symbol that represents the universe, they have no beginning and no end. Unfortunately it was still a bit muddy (a lot muddy!) but we managed to get our creative minds working and set to work in our groups. There was a few less of us as the children in Bede house were off enjoying their house treat but we still worked really well as a team. 

We even created a giant mandala representing our class...although it was a bit tricky to take a picture of!
